The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Kuala Lumpur serves as a vital diplomatic mission, dedicated to supporting the extensive community of Indonesian migrant workers and citizens residing in Malaysia. To bolster our operational capabilities, the Embassy is officially inviting qualified individuals to apply for full-time Local Staff positions for the 2026 fiscal year. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to diplomatic services through a two-year renewable contract, subject to performance and organizational needs.
## Available Positions
The Embassy is currently seeking to fill the following roles:
* Clerical Staff (Code: A): 3 positions available.
* Non-Clerical/Driver (Code: B): 1 position available.
* Non-Clerical/Security Officer (Code: C): 2 positions available.
## Eligibility Requirements
To ensure the highest standards of service, candidates must meet the following criteria:
* Nationality and Residency: Applicants must be Indonesian citizens holding a valid Malaysian permanent residence status or Malaysian citizens.
* Age: Must be between 22 and 45 years of age as of April 1, 2026.
* Health and Integrity: Candidates must be physically and mentally fit, free from drug use (certified by a clinic or physician), and possess a clean criminal record with no legal issues in any jurisdiction.
* Education: A Bachelor’s degree (S1) or equivalent is required for Clerical positions (Code A); a high school diploma or equivalent is the minimum requirement for Non-Clerical positions (Codes B and C).
* Language and Skills:
* Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
* Clerical applicants must be highly competent in Microsoft Office software.
* Driver applicants must possess a valid Malaysian driving license for both motorcycles and automobiles.
* Professional Conduct: Candidates should demonstrate honesty, a strong commitment to duty, the ability to work in a team, and the willingness to handle tasks outside of standard business hours when required. Furthermore, applicants must not be affiliated with any political party.
