## Career Opportunity: Junior WTP/WWTP Operator
PT TJB Power Services is currently expanding its talented workforce and seeking a dedicated professional for the position of Junior WTP/WWTP Operator.
Role Overview
The selected candidate will be responsible for operating specialized equipment and facilities across the Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), Makeup Water Plant, Electro Chlorination Plant, and Sea Water Intake Area. Additional responsibilities include monitoring field conditions, coordinating daily activities with the WTP/WWTP control room, and ensuring that all systems function reliably, efficiently, and in strict compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating and monitoring water treatment facilities and associated auxiliary systems.
* Coordinating operational activities seamlessly with the central control room.
* Conducting routine checks to guarantee safe, optimal, and uninterrupted system performance.
* Responding promptly to operational anomalies following established safety protocols.
Candidate Requirements
To qualify for this exciting career opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:
* Educational Background: Diploma (D3) degree specializing in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Conversion Engineering.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of practical working experience within a power plant environment, specifically in plant operations. Note: High-achieving fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.*
* Technical Knowledge:
* Fundamental understanding of water treatment systems and applied chemistry.
* Basic mechanical comprehension covering bearing systems, hydraulic circuits, and rotating equipment.
* Foundational knowledge in Control & Instrumentation (C&I) and electrical systems.
* Familiarity with basic firefighting procedures and first-aid administration.
* Language Proficiency: Basic working proficiency in the English language.
