## Plant Operator Role Overview
As a Plant Operator based at the LPG Plant in Palembang, South Sumatra, you will play a crucial role in maintaining seamless, safe, and efficient production cycles.
Key Responsibilities
* Safe Production Management: Execute LPG refinery operations strictly in adherence to safety protocols to achieve and exceed established production quotas.
* Facility Transitions: Manage facility start-up procedures in strict compliance with predetermined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Shutdown Execution: Oversee plant shutdown sequences during both scheduled maintenance and emergency situations.
* Field Monitoring & Maintenance: Track field operating conditions, record data accurately on log sheets, identify mechanical issues, and prepare equipment for necessary repairs.
* Operational Compliance: Follow direct instructions from supervisors regarding plant operations while strictly enforcing Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ/K3L) policies, promptly reporting any workplace hazards.
## Candidate Requirements
To qualify for this critical operations role, applicants must meet the following professional and educational criteria:
* Educational Background: Hold a minimum of a Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering.
* Experience: Bring at least one year of hands-on experience in a comparable role, specifically functioning as a Distributed Control System (DCS) Control Room Operator.
* Industry Background: Prior professional exposure within the Oil and Gas sector is strongly preferred.
* Technical Skills: Demonstrate complete familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and maintain strong English proficiency.
