## Open Position: Junior Operator
We are currently recruiting for the role of Junior Operator to be based at our facility in Cilamaya, Karawang. This position is vital to the Operations Department, where you will play a hands-on role in monitoring our advanced CCP systems, ensuring that our energy production remains safe, reliable, and environmentally responsible.
Core Responsibilities
As a Junior Operator, you will serve as a frontline technical expert responsible for the integrity and efficiency of our plant operations. Your daily duties will include:
* System Oversight: Monitor and operate Combined Cycle Power Plant systems to ensure optimal efficiency and safety.
* Operational Execution: Execute plant start-up and shutdown sequences and regulate equipment performance during normal operations.
* Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular facility inspections, document operational data, and report any technical irregularities.
* Technical Interpretation: Utilize P&IDs, logic diagrams, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to troubleshoot and manage equipment.
* Quality & Compliance: Monitor chemical systems, assist with water treatment processes, and maintain strict adherence to all safety and environmental regulations.
* Team Collaboration: Facilitate effective shift handovers and maintain clear communication channels with engineering and maintenance teams.
Candidate Requirements
To succeed in this role, applicants should possess a strong blend of technical expertise and operational discipline. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
1. Educational Background: Hold a Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
2. Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a power plant or heavy industrial setting is preferred; however, high-performing fresh graduates with a robust technical foundation are encouraged to apply.
3. Technical Literacy: Proficiency in understanding CCP operations, power plant terminology, and the ability to analyze complex technical drawings and logic diagrams.
4. Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, collaborative team environment.
5. Communication: Professional proficiency in both written and spoken English.
6. Flexibility: Willingness to work according to a rotating shift schedule.
