## Position Overview: Mechanical Commissioning Engineer
As a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer on our high-profile power plant project, you will play a critical frontline role in bringing complex thermal energy systems to life. This position demands a meticulous approach to testing, diagnostics, and system integration to ensure seamless transitions from construction to full commercial operation.
Core Responsibilities and Duties
To thrive in this role, you must be capable of managing rigorous technical workflows on-site. Your daily responsibilities will encompass:
* System Testing and Analysis: Execute comprehensive performance analyses and rigorous testing protocols, including motor solo runs, fan and pump checkouts, and full load testing.
* Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Rapidly identify, analyze, and resolve intricate mechanical issues involving heavy-duty equipment such as industrial pumps, large-scale fans, and high-pressure valves.
* Site Inspections and Reporting: Conduct thorough on-site observational surveys, generate detailed field reports, and proactively monitor emerging site discrepancies.
* Commissioning Management: Oversee, execute, coordinate, and supervise the complete commissioning lifecycle for all mechanical power plant systems.
* Precision Tool Utilization: Accurately operate specialized diagnostic equipment, including vibration meters, temperature guns, standard mechanical hand tools, and related testing apparatuses.
## Candidate Requirements and Qualifications

* Educational Background: Hold a minimum of a Diploma (D3/D4) or a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
* Industry Experience: Bring at least 5 years of hands-on, relevant experience working within the Power Plant, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), or heavy industrial construction sectors.
* Cultural Adaptability: Previous professional experience working within a Korean corporate environment will be considered a distinct advantage.
* Communication Skills: Demonstrate professional fluency in English, encompassing both advanced written and verbal communication capabilities.
* Technical Proficiency: Show high-level competency using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), CAD software, and other industry-standard engineering or drafting tools.
* Work Arrangement: Commit to working on-site at our Suralaya office located in Cilegon, Banten. Please note that this position operates under a fixed contract employee status without a rotational schedule.
